The fountain features two small frogs and a traditional Asian figure fishing from a cliff. The area surrounding the figures is lined with river pebbles. The character (calligraphy): The Chinese/Japanese character 静 (jìng / shizuka) is painted in gold on the large slate slab in the background; it signifies "silence," "quiet," or "serenity." The small black hole amidst the pebbles serves as the water outlet. When filled with water and connected to a power source, an electric pump circulates the water upwards, allowing it to trickle gently over the stones. This fountain was a gift from friends in the USA; unfortunately, they overlooked the difference in voltage (230V here vs. 120V in the USA). A suitable replacement pump can be purchased for around €10, though it can also be used purely for decoration as is. You might even have a compatible transformer on hand; the original power connection is, of course, included. This indoor fountain operates with a natural, closed-loop water flow. It is crafted from synthetic resin with a highly realistic stone finish, creating a relaxing Zen atmosphere. It makes a perfect gift for any occasion—or simply for the joy of giving.
